ReplyDeleteThat's the plan Alex. But as you know, it's hard to drag yourself away from the computer sometimes...maybe a little later.
DeleteShe got her purple Furby! :) I am sooo glad you are doing better. It is a beautiful morning indeed!
ReplyDeleteThanks!! She got her Furby alright, despite the wicked circumstances. And she loves it!

DeleteNothing likea purple Furby on Christmas morning. Glad you're all feeling better and having a great MLK weekend.
ReplyDeleteThanks Johanna. You know that entire purple laundry basket (sitting in front of her) was full of toys, but all Frankie cared about was that purple Furby!
DeleteNothing like witnessing the joy of moments like that, except maybe being partly responsible for making them happen.
ReplyDeleteHey Jeff- so nice to hear from you. Thanks so much for stopping in! And yeah, it warms my heart every time I watch this video. It was a classic Christmas morning, for sure.
DeleteSo glad you are all feeling better and what could be better than a purple Furby!
ReplyDeleteYou and my daughter share a love of all things purple Suzanne. Her entire room is done in shades of it, and most of her wardrobe! LOL
DeleteLove that! My son is already asking for another Christmas. Cheeky little guy!
ReplyDeleteThat's adorable. I want another Christmas too. (Just without all the bills...LOL)
DeleteFurby!!!!
ReplyDeleteIt was cute for like ten minutes. Now I just want it to STOP talking. But it won't. You have to put it to sleep, argh!!

ReplyDeleteTammy- that stinking Furby is as crazy as my kid, and that's saying something. She runs around the house speaking "Furbish" now. It's nuts. But a ton of fun!!

DeleteSo glad you're feeling better, and that you're back. I've missed you! <3
ReplyDeleteHey Clare- thanks so much. I'm so happy to see your comments popping up on all my posts. I missed you too!!
DeleteIs this the 'infamous' purple furby. The one you risked life and limb to get. The one your younger daughter was gonna hurt that jerk over. I'm still laughing over that particular post. So glad to see her so excited.
ReplyDeleteLOL-Oh yeah- this is the "infamous" purple furby that we almost came to fistacuffs in the Barnes & Noble over. She loves it so much, it was worth all the aggravation.
DeleteI love seeing this. I wish I got that happy over anything these days. Okay, that sounds depressing, but really I just mean that as an adult I don't "freak out" as often as I should over good things. :)
ReplyDeleteAlso, yes, like faraway mentioned, all I could think of was the story with the rude guy who ran off before your daughter could whoop him.
I understand exactly what you mean. Doing things with my kids has somehow re-sparked my enthusiasm for them, because seeing things through their eyes, is like seeing them again yourself for the first time, amazing!
DeleteAnd yes, I hope that dude lives to a ripe old age, knowing that he ran from the threats of a ten year girl, what a tool!!
